What is it like to be transgender?

What exactly is a transgender? A transgender is a person who feels as though their physical body is not relevant to how they think or emotionally feel. Now, more on the internet, I've talked to individuals who summarize all transgenders as being what they biologically are and never the gender they see fit. Some of these people for example, a male who wants to be a woman, can never be classified as woman of society and the world because... They were born a male. This upsets me greatly due to the fact that there's education behind what a transgender person is. To draw this out further, you have to look at the psychology of a transgender not the physical. What this means is listening to what a particular trans-person has to say and how they say it. For instance, when you are attracted to someone physically, is it most of the time just physical attraction and nothing else or, is it their personality? The personality is an invisible part of a human being that does exist which speaks louder than the physical body. Speaking of this "invisible" part of someone, here's another healthy example... Take into thought, one of the most highly respected artist in today's pop culture, BeyoncĂ©, she's beautiful and obviously talented. However, beyond that about her, if she carried a nasty gritty sophisticated I-am-that-diva attitude, do you think her career would still flourish or decline?

With all this in your mind, overall what I'm saying, is a transgender is a person like any other who is crying out not to be accepted for who they want to be but to be who they are, human.
